In response to the recent outbreak of the corona virus, Dubai airports have listed guidelines for travelers ordered by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority.

Upon arrival at Dubai International Airport (all terminals), all passengers go through a non-annoying thermal scan when they pass through customs.

Those arriving from one of the countries listed below will be subjected to thermal screening and a nose swab. This screening stage is carried out by the team of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Airport Medical Center at DXB and is limited to the following countries:

Thailand

Lebanon

Syria

Italy

People’s Republic of China

According to instructions from the relevant authorities, flights to and from the following countries were temporarily suspended:

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Bahrain

Islamic Republic of Iran

People’s Republic of China
