Barbados has officially launched its 12 month welcome brand for Barbados, which its Prime Minister announced.
The Caribbean country is now accepting applications for this new visa, which allows visitors to stay and work remotely for up to a year.
With much of the world working from home and unable to go on vacation due to the coronavirus pandemic, thanks to Barbados’ renewed incentive, people can relocate to a popular destination, the country’s Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley said on the official Visa website says.
In a press release sent to Insider, Sunil Chatrani, chairman of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. said that “the work environment in Barbados definitely allows you to get things done” and that it offers “the fastest fiber optic internet and cellular services in the world” Caribbean “as well as” a range of flexible office spaces “.
