Learn Common Phrases of the Local Language
The words “please”, “thank you” and “I’m sorry” in the local language go a long way. I’d also like to learn the word beer, but that’s just me.
Don’t Forget an Extra Camera Battery (or Two)
Have you ever reached this epic sunset photo spot and realized that the camera battery is dead and you have no backup? I try to bring at least three camera batteries on all of our trips so we don’t miss that perfect shot.
Always Bring a Sarong
Gowns can be used as cover when they are cold, a towel, a curtain or a piece of clothing that can be worn in several different ways. Solid colors are great, but if you want something special, I love this snail.
