The Dubai based airline, flydubai, will cancel all flights to India between March 17th and 31st, according to an update on its website. The airline serves eight destinations in India, including Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Calicut and Kochi.

The update read: “India: Flydubai flights to and from India will be canceled between March 17th and 31st, according to instructions from the Indian authorities.”

The Indian government had set travel restrictions on Monday (March 16) to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from high-risk areas, and comprehensive measures to maintain “social distancing” to prevent local transmissions. India released the new travel report after a meeting of the ministerial group on COVID-19.
