Morocco is said to prohibit flights to and from the United Kingdom, which has prompted the British Foreign Office to advise against all trips to the country that are not absolutely necessary.
The spread of the corona virus across Europe and the world has forced governments to adopt strict rules at their borders, including quarantines and health checks. Some have now banned entry altogether.
The North African nation imposed restrictions on travelers from around 30 countries, including Spain, France and Italy, over the weekend, but excluded the UK.
