The United Arab Emirates has suspended the entry of all valid visa holders who are currently outside the country due to the proliferation of Covid-19 for a renewable period of two weeks from Thursday, March 19, 12:00 noon.

The development is a precaution to ensure the safety of those affected by the decision, which must be renewed depending on the health measures taken due to the novel outbreak of the corona virus.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has asked those who hold a valid UAE visa and are now outside the country to use the following procedures:

– Those who are now in their countries of origin must contact the UAE diplomatic missions in their respective countries to receive the necessary support and to rationalize their return to the UAE.

– Anyone who is currently outside the UAE for business reasons must contact their employers and the diplomatic missions of the Emirates in their host countries to obtain the necessary support for their return to the UAE.

– Those who are on vacation now must contact the UAE diplomatic missions in their respective host countries to receive the necessary support to enable them to return to the UAE.
