British Airways has announced the launch of its London, Lahore flight starting from October 14. This will also connect the US and Canada passengers via London. The airline already flies every day from Islamabad and connects friends and family as well as business contacts.

The flights are operated by a Boeing 787-8 departing from Heathrow Terminal 5 and landing at Lahore International Airport.

The British High Commissioner for Pakistan, Dr. Christian Turner said:

“The first British Airways flights to Lahore are a sign of confidence in Pakistan and the deepening of relations between our two countries. I hope it opens up even more opportunities for business relationships, personal relationships and tourism. ”

Moran Birger, Middle East and Asia Pacific Sales Director, said:

“We are pleased to have direct flights from Lahore to London four times a week, which provide convenient travel options for customers who fly for leisure or business.

Our new Lahore services connect two of Pakistan’s largest cities to London and offer seamless transfer options to Manchester, the US and Canada.

After restarting services from Islamabad to Heathrow earlier this year, this new flight from Lahore represents our continued investment in Pakistan and we look forward to welcoming our customers on board. ”
