British Airways has been accused of being dishonest after customers who requested refunds for canceled flights on their website instead got the travel vouchers.
Travelers have stated that an online button that says “Cancel and Refund Flights” does not offer the option to get your money back. Customers can only get a refund by calling the UK airline call center.
The world’s airlines have been forced to cut thousands of flights from their flight schedules because the countries are blocked by the corona virus. IAG, BA’s parent company, has announced that it will shut down 75 percent of its services.
It may be noted that EU rules allows customers whose flights gets cancelled, for a refund.
