Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar announced that there will be a lockdown from midnight for the next 14 days across the province to control the spread of the corona virus.

Addressed a press conference in Lahore after chairing a high-level meeting to discuss the steps the provincial government is taking to fight the pandemic.

CM Punjab said the blockade will be enforced from 9:00 am through April 6th. The provincial passenger exemption is prohibited in the province during the ban.

He said the daily routine and medical stores will remain open during the closure, while markets, malls, and public spaces will remain closed during the above period.
