Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Dubai Airports, announced free flights to stranded UAE nationals around the world due to a coronavirus pandemic.

Sheikh Ahmed went to Twitter on Friday to tweet about the flights. The Dubai-based airline announced special flights next week after the flights were suspended to curb the spread of Covid-19:

With the beginning of restricted passenger traffic from Dubai next week, Emirates will bring UAE nationals home on all flights free of charge. UAE nationals who are currently stranded overseas can contact the nearest UAE embassy for assistance. Emirates stands with the UAE.
