Etihad Airways will continue to offer a full flight schedule to Italy, despite the country being involved in a corona virus lock. Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte asked the Italian people not to travel last night, unless this was absolutely necessary.
Italy has the highest number of corona virus cases in Europe, with more than 9,000 and 463 deaths on Tuesday. The United Arab Emirates-based airline Emirates will continue to operate some flights to Italy, although the airline has decided to drastically shorten its flight schedule.
Emirates will stop its daily flight between Dubai and Venice from March 12th to March 31st, while flights to Milan will be cut by two thirds.
