Sometime back it was reported that France was the first European country to ban veils (face coverings) in public places. Since April 1, 2011, it has been illegal to wear a face veil or other mask in public places.

France has now passed a new law saying that if someone does not cover their face, a fine of € 150 will be imposed.

Last month in a famous fashion show, Paris Fashion Week, the models saw different types of face masks that were identical to those worn by Muslim women around the world.

The Paris Fashion Week fashion brand presented a range of face mask outfits, Niqaab, as the corona virus continues to spread around the world.
