Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) take off the longest international flight from Islamabad. PIA has decided to resume direct flights between Pakistan and the United States.

The national airline will begin direct flights between Pakistan and the US from April next year, and the PIA government has asked American officials for permission to provide documents and plans.

Sources had added that PIA will use its Boeing 777 long-haul aircraft to fly to the United States. It is worth mentioning that a team from the United States Homeland Security Agency visited Pakistan to get an overview of the arrangements for direct flights at Islamabad and Karachi airports.
