Pakistan International Airlines has decided to launch 53 special flights next week to support Pakistanis stranded abroad. According to the information, the flights would be carried out to bring the Pakistani citizens from:
- Algeria
- Khartoum
- Nairobi
- Oman
- Zurich
- Amsterdam
- Turkey
- Jeddah
The PIA asked passengers who were unable to travel to Pakistan from these destinations due to the termination of flight operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, to contact the airline call center and their local numbers for coordination specify.

The numbers would be used to inform passengers about booking procedures, flight restrictions and other details regarding changes in flight operations.
In the meantime, the national airline has also announced plans to cut tariffs after CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik noted the higher tariffs for overseas Pakistanis returning to the country.
“Tickets with updated tariffs will now be available in the e-ticketing system,” said the PIA spokesman.
It should be noted here that the CEO of Pakistan International Airlines, Air Marshal Arshad Malik, announced on Monday that it would lower airfares.
After meeting with Federal Minister of Aviation, Ghulam Sarwar Khan, the PIA CEO instructed the sales department to cut the flight price immediately.
He claimed that PIA would not charge passengers an additional amount other than the operating costs. On this occasion, the CEO instructed to take action against the travel agents, who charged passengers additional profits.
