The Punjab government has introduced a new rule for traveling during pandemic, as authorities restricted recovered patients from first getting a letter of approval before traveling to and outside the province.
The home department announced that the recovered corona virus patients now need a special travel permit, including those that are part of the country and are ready to enter Punjab.
Punjab citizens who have recovered from the virus require a letter of approval from the authorities concerned to be able to travel to other provinces. In addition, patients released from quarantine centers in other provinces can enter Punjab if they have a mandatory government letter of approval.
According to the home department, the rescued people were able to travel after receiving permission from deputy commissioners from their districts. The Home Office issued instructions to the provincial general secretaries and police chiefs.
