The Civil Aviation Authority has denied Qatar Airways’ application to allow international flight operations to and from Pakistan until April 30, 2020. According to the reports, the CAA has allowed Qatar Airways to continue its scheduled international flight operations to / from Pakistan until March 29, 2020, despite the introduction of a health emergency to prevent the spread of corona virus in the country.

Qatar Airways now plans to further expand the resumption of scheduled flights from and to Islamabad by April 30, 2020. To this end, the airline wrote to the Pakistani Civil Aviation Authority to allow the continuation of scheduled flight operations from Islamabad till April 30, 2020.

However, the CAA finally rejected the application and decided to postpone Qatar Airways’ international flight operations to and from Pakistan beyond March 29, 2020.
