The UAE temporarily suspended the issuance of all entry visas except diplomatic passport holders on Saturday. This applies from March 17th.

The decision does not apply to people who have already received a visa before the effective date.

The agency added that the decision will be effective until the departure countries activate a medical check-up mechanism for passengers as an additional measure.
