A suspected coronavirus patient committed suicide at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. The 35-year-old man jumped from the 7th floor of Safdarjung Hospital, according to a PCR call from the Delhi police.

He was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital on Wednesday at 9 p.m. as a suspected coronavirus patient. The deceased came to India from Sydney in Australia and complained of a headache.

The man was brought in by the airport authorities as a coronavirus suspect and immediately taken to the isolation ward, hospital sources said.

His samples were taken and sent for testing, they said, adding that the reports were expected. He is said to have opened the gates of the isolation station and jumped out of the 7th floor of the hospital.
